Image Contracting was founded by John Harding in 2011. A lifelong learner who is dedicated to the pursuit of perfection in everything he does. John brings his heart, soul, and passion for detail to his work and holds himself and everyone he works with to exceptionally high standards.

Started as a one-man operation doing painting and odd jobs, John approached each opportunity with the care and attention to detail as if it were his own home. Never compromising, always meticulous, John applied the principle that would become the company motto and culture: Flawless Results. Every Project. Every Time.

Growing and adding to the team year-over-year, Image Contracting has evolved into one of the most respected and sought-after contracting firms in Southern New Hampshire.

John's goal for Image Contracting is to be the best of the best, to have every job

completed to the satisfaction of his client, and to build relationships that last job after job. Repeat business is the norm, not the exception, at Image Contracting. And, almost all new business is by referral.

Image Contracting is a Limited Liability Company in 'Good Standing' registered as a General Contractor with the State of New Hampshire. Our business office and mailing address is in Bedford, NH where we have been based since the beginning. Our operations, warehouse and shop are located in Amherst, NH.

What is a "General Contractor"?

A General Contractor (GC) is a construction professional, or firm, who has knowledge of all facets of the building trades. A GC has also cultivated relationships with subcontractors to complete the various pieces of a project requiring specialized skills and/or legally required licenses. The General Contractor may (or oftentimes may not) perform any of the actual work. This is most common for large developments and

commercial projects, but also for "design shop" type businesses who sell you a project. They have a storefront, offer design services, and supply materials but then have an independent contractor complete the work. Or, they may have a salaried project manager act as the GC and oversee the various subcontractors involved.

Image Contracting is a hands-on GC and does the vast majority of work on all our projects with our own teams. The buck stops here. Additionally, we've worked tirelessly over the years to cultivate relationships with the very best materials suppliers and trade professionals such as plumbers, electricians, and other subcontractors. Our reputation rests on the quality of work they perform so we don't settle for less than perfection. We really are the only call you need to make to handle your project start to finish!
