Repairs
Image Contracting performs all types of property repairs, small or large: a leaky faucet or major flood damage. Some of our most frequent types of repairs include: replacing rotten exterior trim, repairing rotten decks, water damage from ice dams/roof leaks/plumbing leaks, flood restoration.
If your repair is an insurance claim, Image Contracting has extensive experience dealing with insurance companies and can work with the adjuster to get your claim approved and the work started!

Ice Dam
This project repaired major water damage from a bad ice dam. This was one of our particularly bad New England winters and there was about two feet of snow on the roof that provided an ample supply of continuous leakage. The water had spread across the great room ceiling, into the walls and down into the finished basement. It damaged the drywall, insulation, woodwork and paint. It all had to come out and was replaced and the room restored to its like-new condition. This was a claim through our client's homeowner's insurance. We worked with the adjuster to have the claim approved for the full cost of repair which was substantially higher than the initial insurance estimate.

Flood Damage
This was an insurance claim for a major plumbing flood in a mobile home in a retirement community. The property was vacant and about to be listed for sale. The toilet supply line broke off in the middle of the night and it ran for many hours until someone stopped in the following day. By the time we were called in, the area was still actively wet and mold had started to grow. We performed the water mitigation, remediated the mold, and completed the restoration of the property. The project was complicated due to the fact that it was a mobile home. Many of the components that needed to be replaced were not "off the shelf" items. But, we got it done.

Roof Leak
The culprit of this project was a flat roof above our client's family room that leaked. They wanted us to replace the whole family room ceiling because it was popcorn and they wanted a smooth ceiling. They also wanted new insulation throughout the ceiling. The open ceiling facilitated their electrician installing all new lighting. We also sanded and skim-coated the kitchen ceiling to get rid of the popcorn
This job was complicated by needing to carefully preserve the wallpaper, and there was crown moulding throughout the space. We were able to remove and re-install the crown moulding, and not a sliver of wallpaper was damaged.

Deck Repairs
