Pre-Purchase Opinion

There are many circumstances where you may need a condition assessment and/or some budget numbers before you make an offer to buy a property. Perhaps you're planning on buying a fixer-upper, or are concerned a property you are considering may be a fixer-upper. Are you biting off more than you can chew? Are you a first-time homebuyer who's nervous and has no idea what you're actually looking at? Are you purchasing with any type of rehab or renovation mortgage? Maybe you know the kitchen and bathrooms just have to go immediately but don't have a clue what that would actually cost.

While you should always have an inspection performed by a licensed home inspector once you are under contract, many problematic situations can be avoided altogether before you even submit a deposit and pay for a home inspection.

While unconventional, we would be happy to accompany you and your real estate agent on your initial or a follow-up showing. In fact, we have done just this dozens of times!

We can also look at photos of the property and discuss your plans for general projects like kitchens or bathrooms and we'll try to give you ballpark numbers.

On-Site Visits are billed on an hourly basis and we can generally give you an idea of the cost ahead of time. Photo/phone consults are far less accurate and only applicable in certain circumstances, but are generally provided as a courtesy. Some exceptions to both policies apply.
